Dear friends,
Since our last message cancelling the Annual FoI
picnic, we have received many phone calls conveying
disappointment at the cancellation. Although many
planned to attend, it seems that many did not or did
not know to register with Achsan or myself. As a
result, we could not gauge the level of enthusiasm and
more importantly, the level of participation that
would requires food and drink purchases.
The level of interest expressed to us is the silver
lining in this story that will make next year’s picnic
a sure fire success!!
See you at the golf tournament!

The Friends of Indonesia, would like to invite you and your friends or family to our Charitable Picnic. The funds collected will go to the Foster Parents Plan of Canada.
The intention is to contribute the funds raised at the tournament to Foster Parents Plan of Canada to support the ongoing education of the children and to benefit their families. We consider that there can be no better investment in a child’s future, and that of his or her family, than to enable the provision of a good education to equip that child for adult life with a good career or job prospects.
