We are truly moved by your letter of sympathy and condolence to the late Gus Dur. Not only did Indonesia, as well as the international community, lost one of its finest President, but also one of the most pluralist and grand leader of our time whose mind and effort was constantly placed for the good and betterment of his country.
While I was serving in Ottawa, his 2002 visit as President was one of the most memorable and fond memory that I hold dear and share along with the good people and Government of Canada.
Thank you once again for your prayers and kind words for he will always be in our hearths.
